Fantasy Impact:
Sewald was pretty solid in the closer role for the Diamondbacks over the first three months of the season. However, things started to turn south on him in late June. By the end of July, the 36-year-old righty had been removed from the role altogether. Sewald has been knocked around for 12 runs (11 earned) and given up five homers in just five innings pitched since the All-Star break. It wouldn't be surprised to see another club take a chance on the veteran, but Arizona has chosen to move on from him.
