Paul Sewald earned the save on Tuesday against the Phillies, allowing one run on one hit over 1.1 innings to go along with one strikeout.
Sewald entered the game with a runner on and two outs in the eighth inning where he was able to escape the jam. Jean Segura hit a solo home run off Sewald in the ninth inning, but he was still able to hold on for the save as he looked better overall again after blowing the save last Friday.

Sewald made his first appearance since April 19 after recently being taken off the COVID IL. He appeared in the sixth and seventh inning in his first appearance back, but he should slowly work his way back into the closer situation out of the Mariners bullpen.

The 31-year-old reliever had appeared in four games and had yet to give up a run or a hit while striking out three. Penn Murfee was recalled to take his place on the roster. Fantasy managers who have the IL spot availability should store Sewald there until his return.
