Ryan Johnson grinds through six in win over Mariners
by Chris Schommer | Angels Correspondent |
Ryan Johnson allowed one earned run on six hits and no walks while striking out seven over six innings in Tuesday's 2-1 win over the Mariners.
Fantasy Impact:
Johnson continues a strong stretch of late, allowing two earned runs or less in seven of his last eight trips to the mound. The right-hander continues to turn around a disappointing season as part of an underperforming Angels rotation for manager Kurt Suzuki, posting a 4.88 ERA and 1.34 WHIP to go with a 5-8 record and 7.0 K/9 ratio across 20 appearances.
