Carlos Quentin released by Twins

Carlos Quentin has been released by the Twins. The 33-year-old veteran outfielder batted a decent .250 this Spring with two homers and seven R.B.I., but the Twins decided to hold on to both Oswaldo Arcia and Danny Santana for reserve outfield roles to start the season.
