Rafael Ortega went 2-for-3 with his first career home run on Wednesday. It was a three-run home run in the 8th inning. He also collected a walk and two runs in the game.
Fantasy Impact:
Ortega has been the Angels primary left fielder with both Danial Nava and Craig Gentry on the DL. He has done good in his stint hitting .275 with a .318 on-base percentage. With the Angels not having a true left fielder, Ortega might earn himself more playing time when both Nava and Gentry are healthy.
