Roberto Osuna works clean ninth for 30th save

by Marc Walton | Sun, Sep 4th 7:54pm EDT

Roberto Osuna came on in the ninth and retired the Rays in order to earn his 30th save of the season. The save chance was made possible thanks to an eighth inning two run shot by Russell Martin to give the Jays the 5-3 lead.

Fantasy Impact:

Osuna is now 30-for-33 in save opportunities this year, while sporting a 2.44 ERA, 0.88 WHIP, and 73 strikeouts in 59 innings pitched. Osuna hasn't been without a few struggles this season, however he continues to show he is one of the games elite closers.
