Zack Greinke allows career-high five HR in loss
by Tony Pontecorvo | Tue, Sep 6th 1:56am EDT
Zack Greinke allowed eight runs in 4 2/3 innings Monday in a 10-2 loss to the Dodgers. Greinke cruised through the first three innings before allowing five home runs in the next 1 2/3 innings. The outing raised Greinke's ERA for the season to 4.54. One small silver lining for fantasy owners was Greinke struck out six and did not walk anyone.
Fantasy Impact:
Greinke's frustrating season for him and his fantasy owners continued as he got shelled in Dodger Stadium, where he had seen so much success in the past three seasons. It's difficult to predict Greinke's performance from start-to-start, making him a risky start during the upcoming fantasy playoffs.
