Fantasy Impact: Toglia split last season between the Rockies and Triple-A Albuquerque as he struggled to a .190 batting average in 337 plate appearances with Colorado. Toglia does have good power as the switch-hitting first baseman belted 25 home runs for the Rockies during the 2024 season. Of his 42 career home runs with the Rockies, 27 of them were away from Coors Field. This is a low-risk, high-reward move for the Reds and, if Toglia can get back to his 2024 form, Cincinnati has another power-hitting option who can play both first base and a corner outfield spot.

Fantasy Impact: The deal includes no opt-outs and a full no trade clause. The veteran third baseman hit .273, with 18 home runs, and 62 RBI with Boston last season. Bregman will immediately slot in as the Cubs’ long term answer at third base.
