Michael Toglia signs minor league deal with Reds

Michael Toglia has signed a minor league deal with the Cincinnati Reds. Toglia was non-tendered by the Rockies back in November. (Patrick Lyons on X)
Fantasy Impact:
Toglia split last season between the Rockies and Triple-A Albuquerque as he struggled to a .190 batting average in 337 plate appearances with Colorado. Toglia does have good power as the switch-hitting first baseman belted 25 home runs for the Rockies during the 2024 season. Of his 42 career home runs with the Rockies, 27 of them were away from Coors Field. This is a low-risk, high-reward move for the Reds and, if Toglia can get back to his 2024 form, Cincinnati has another power-hitting option who can play both first base and a corner outfield spot.
