It's the second time this week that the Orioles have designated Suarez for assignment. His first DFA saw him clear waivers then sign with Baltimore when Ryan Helsley was placed on the IL. Suarez threw 65 pitches in 2.2 innings on Friday, allowing one run, one hit, and four walks while striking out three. In six appearances in Baltimore this season, Suarez is 1-0 with a 3.45 ERA and a 9:9 K:BB ratio in 15.2 innings. Another reunion between Suarez and the Orioles is not out of the question as this was likely a move to get fresh arms in the bullpen and he went unclaimed his first time around.
