Once in a part-time role, Freeland has been playing every day since the calendar turned to April. With Mookie Betts' injury, his playing time should remain safe, but there's not a lot of upside. He's striking out over 30% of the time and isn't making hard contact. He's not very interesting right now, but in that lineup, it could change in a hurry.
