Andrew Benintendi went 2-for-5 with a double and one stolen base during Wednesday’s 6-1 win over the Angels.
Benintendi swiped another bag and has now stolen three bases in his last four games. The 26-year-old OF logged his multi-hit effort of the season. Benintendi continues to hit in the top of the Royals order and is slashing .225/.311/.250 across 40 at-bats in 2021.

Benintendi reached base on an error and stole his first base of the season by executing a double-steal with Whit Merrifield in the top of the 10th inning. He hit the go-ahead RBI single in the eighth frame for his first RBI of the 2021 campaign. Benintendi has struggled so far in 2021, slashing .207.281/.207 with no extra-base hits and nine strikeouts across 31 plate appearances.

Benintendi is off to a slow start in 2021, batting .167 with an .442 OPS across 18 at-bats. He continues to hit at the top of the lineup and will look to get back on track soon. Despite the slow start, Benintendi remains a solid OF option for fantasy managers in all league formats.

It's good to see that Benintendi's removal was indeed precautionary. He's just 1-for-9 on the young season but so long as he continues to bat near the top of the lineup, he'll be an intriguing fantasy option.
