Andrew Benintendi went 2-for-5 with a double in Kansas City's 7-4 loss to the White Sox on Thursday.
Andrew Benintendi has cooled off significantly after his blazing hot start but his average remains at .306 through 37 games. Despite the cool down, Benintendi's fantasy managers are rolling him out in their lineups daily, at least in all season long formats.
Andrew Benintendi is not in the Royals' lineup for their game on Sunday against the Rockies.
This looks to be a day of rest for Benintendi against the lefty Austin Gomber. He's off to a solid start to the season, slashing .316/.370/.421, and should be back in the lineup on Monday against the White Sox.
Andrew Benintendi went 3-for-6 with a home run, a triple, three RBIs and two runs scored in a 14-10 Royals win in Colorado on Friday.
Benintendi got the scoring started Friday night with a 2-run blast off Kyle Freeland in the 1st inning. It was Benintendi's second home run of the season and first since April 11 but his average sits at a stellar .324. It was also Benintendi's first 3-hit game since the same game as his last home run. Benny's owners have been able to ride his high average all season and despite the recent slide back down to earth he has been the most consistent piece of an inconsistent Kansas City lineup.
Andrew Benintendi went 2-for-4 with a run scored and RBI in a 6-4 Kansas City victory over Baltimore in Game 1 on Sunday.
Andrew Benintendi's two hits in Game 1 brought his season average up to .360. The RBI was his 12th of the year for a team that has only scored 78 runs this season. Benny continues to be the brightest spot in a lineup with most other regulars struggling to hit in even the .200s. He has played a great left field as well and done about as good of a job replacing the KC legend Alex Gordon who he essentially replaced after Gordon's retirement.
Andrew Benintendi went 0-for-3 in a 10-0 Kansas City loss Wednesday to St. Louis.
Andrew Benintendi was pinch hit for by Hunter Dozier in the 9th inning of the blowout loss. Despite the hitless day, Benintendi has hit safely in 14 of his last 16 games and his .354 average is one of the sole bright spots in an otherwise anemic Kansas City offense.
