Zerpa missed most of last season due to a shoulder injury. He pitched in the Arizona Fall League where he was stretched out a bit. He could be used more in long relief this season for the Royals.
Angel Zerpa delivered an impressive performance on Wednesday, allowing just three hits and no earned runs over 5.1 innings pitched against the Guardians.
