Astros reliever Austin Pruitt's poor outing on Wednesday paved the way for a Mariners victory. The 31-year-old retired one batter and surrendered a home run. His one earned run gave him the loss as Houston ultimately fell to Cleveland by a score of 5-4.
Pruitt has allowed two runs, three hits, and zero walks while striking out one batter over 2.2 innings of work. He has made just two outings since returning from the 60-day injured list last Friday.
