Fantasy Impact
Ober didn't do much to help fantasy managers as he managed just one strikeout in his disappointing season debut. After Sunday's outing, Ober now has a 6.75 ERA and 1.25 WHIP with a 0-0 record. He will look to bounce back in his next start, which will be against the Rays on Saturday.

Fantasy Impact
Ober had a down year in 2025, going 6-9 with a 5.10 ERA in 27 starts with the Twins. The righthander also missed a month of the season with a hip impingement. Ober has been mostly successful in his major league career, posting a 4.08 ERA in 115 starts - all with the Twins. The righthander struck out a career-high 191 batters in 2024 and is a strong candidate for a bounce-back season in 2026.

Fantasy Impact
After today’s win, Ober has a 5.10 ERA and 1.30 WHIP with a 6-9 record across 27 starts this season. Astonishingly enough, this was the first outing all season he did not allow a single run. This was by far Ober's worst season in the bigs after being plenty productive the previous two seasons. His strikeout rate fell considerably (~8%), and his fastball velocity was down 1.5 mph compared to last year. He dealt with some injuries, so maybe that is to blame. Either way, Ober will be an interesting pitcher to rank in 2026.
