This was by far Ober's worst season in the bigs after being plenty productive the previous two seasons. His strikeout rate fell considerably (~8%), and his fastball velocity was down 1.5 mph compared to last year. He dealt with some injuries, so maybe that is to blame. Either way, Ober will be an interesting pitcher to rank in 2026.
