Infielder Brock Rodden has been reassigned to minor league camp by the Seattle Mariners.
Fantasy Impact
Rodden had a solid spring, going 13-for-36 (.361) with two homers, two stolen bases, and six RBI in 20 games. The infielder was a fifth-round pick by Seattle in 2023 and has hit .274 with 21 home runs and 47 stolen bases in 206 career minor league contests. The Mariners are penciled in to go with Leo Rivas and Cole Young up the middle, both of whom do not have a lot of major league experience. So, an opportunity is there to join the big league roster if he hits well to start the year and if Young and/or Rivas struggle at the outset.
The Mariners promoted Brock Rodden to Double-A Arkansas.
Fantasy Impact
Rodden hit .302 with nine home runs, 33 RBI and 21 stolen bases this season with High-A Everett.
