Miller did not undergo a procedure to remove the loose bone spurs in the area this offseason as a result. He will look to pick up where he left off in the postseason last year following three strong starts.
Bryce Miller and the Seattle Mariners avoided arbitration with the two sides settling for a $2.4525 million contract for the 2026 season. There is also a club option for 2027 worth $6.075 million or a $15K buyout. If he finishes in the top five in the AL Cy Young voting, the club option is voided.

The 27-year-old righthander battled through injuries for much of last season and was limited to 18 starts with the Mariners. He went 4-6 with a 5.68 ERA with 74 strikeouts in 90.1 innings. However, Miller showed signs of his 2024 performance during the postseason when he went 1-0 with a 2.45 ERA in three playoff starts. All told, Miller has pitched three seasons in Seattle going 24-21 with a 4.02 ERA in 401 career innings. Miller will likely hold a backend of the rotation spot heading into 2026.

Miller battled elbow inflammation for much of this past season which led to multiple trips on the injured list. He was able to pitch well in the postseason to close the year after struggling in the regular season. Miller will have a follow-up appointment this offseason with his doctor to determine his next steps. As of now, he should be a full-go heading into spring training.
