Cavalli threw his first bullpen session on Monday as he is 11 months removed from Tommy John surgery. He is expected to throw off a mound three times a week until he’s cleared to face live hitters. He remains on track to return to the mound around June.
Cade Cavalli was diagnosed with a grade 3 sprain of his UCL. He will need Tommy John surgery and will miss the entire 2023 season.
