He needed 43 pitches to record four outs and threw just 18 of those pitches for strikes. Coming off of Tommy John surgery, Scott was 0-2 with a 5.27 ERA and an encouraging 17:2 K:BB ratio in three starts at Syracuse prior to his call-up. His start did not go according to plan, but he should get another opportunity in the majors at some point this season.
