Cody Bradford (elbow) targeting May return

Cody Bradford (elbow), who had internal brace surgery last June, is scheduled for his first post-surgery bullpen session on Wednesday. The lefthander is targeting a May return to the Rangers' pitching staff.

Fantasy Impact

Bradford, who will turn 28 in February, last pitched in 2024 when he went 6-3 with a 3.54 ERA in 14 appearances (13 starts). He had an excellent 4.2% walk rate to go with a 23% strikeout rate. While he doesn't have overpowering stuff, Bradford does have an excellent changeup and terrific command. As long as the recovery stays on track, Bradford should reclaim a spot in the starting rotation upon his return.
