He fared much better at Triple-A Round Rock where he batted .336 with 19 home runs and 71 RBI in 426 plate appearances. It's unfortunate news for Freeman, who was expected to compete for an Opening Day roster spot. Instead, he will be out until late March at best and will need to ramp up before being ready for game action.
