Gillespie received his first start since August 26th, and has been the odd man out for playing time in a semi-crowded Marlins outfield after the return of Marcell Ozuna. Even with Ozuna's struggles, Gillespie will likely see even less playing time in the coming weeks with the return of Giancarlo Stanton and the potential for a healthy Christian Yelich.
