Holderman will take the spot vacated by Shawn Armstrong (groin) in the Cleveland bullpen. Holderman has made two previous appearances with the Guardians so far this season, allowing three runs (two earned) on two hits and two walks with three strikoeuts across three innings.

He would likely be a top choice to return to the majors if Cleveland needs another righty in the pen.
