Moran struggled in 2022 with the Reds, slashing .211/.305/.376 with an 86 wRC+. He'll get a chance to make the Mariners in Spring Training as a role player in a strong lineup.

It was Moran's only hit of the game, but it will be interesting to see if the veteran sees much playing time down the stretch. Moran showed flashes of fantasy relevance in Pittsburgh but will have to prove himself before being worthy of any consideration in the season's final weeks.
