Walsh was no match for Marlins' ace Jose Fernandez on Monday striking out all three times he faced the right-hander. Walsh also struck out in the ninth against A.J. Ramos to end the game.

Walsh, a Rule 5 pick, is hitting just .098 over 41 at-bats this season in sporadic playing time. With his four strikeouts on Monday, he has now struck out 17 times this season. Walsh is not worth fantasy consideration in all league.

Walsh drew the start at third base and batted leadoff for the Brewers on Tuesday afternoon against the Twins. He got the first hit of his career with a double off of Ervin Santana in the first inning. Walsh later came around the score on a Ryan Braun single. Walsh finished the game 1-for-4 with two strikeouts.

Fantasy Impact

Nice to see Walsh get his first hit after going 0-for-10 to start his career. Walsh could get a few spots starts at third base with Aaron Hill struggling to start the season but Walsh is not worth fantasy consideration in any leagues at this time.

Walsh was a Rule 5 pick by the Brewers this offseason. He and fellow infielder Yadiel Rivera have been informed that they have made the Brewers opening day roster.

Fantasy Impact

Walsh will serve as a backup infielder, primarily at second base for the Brewers to start the season. This will be Walsh's first taste of the big leagues after five seasons in the minors with the Cardinals and Athletics. Walsh is not worth fantasy consideration except in the deepest of NL-only leagues.
