The Twins have optioned left-hander Connor Prielipp to Triple-A St. Paul.
Fantasy Impact
Prielipp, the Twins' second-round pick in 2022, allowed four earned runs in 5 1/3 spring innings prior to Monday's move. The southpaw posted a 4.03 ERA across 23 starts and 24 appearances between Double-A and Triple-A in 2025.
Prielipp tossed 1.2 scoreless innings with two strikeouts and three walks in his spring debut Monday. He underwent Tommy John surgery in 2021, then required internal brace surgery on the same elbow in July 2023 after being selected 48th overall in the 2022 draft.
Fantasy Impact
Minnesota limited Prielipp to fewer than five innings per start throughout last season until late September. His fastball reached 97.5 mph Monday, and he has added a slow curveball to complement his existing slider and changeup. With the Twins signing three veteran left-handed relievers this offseason, Prielipp is likely to remain in the starting rotation at Triple-A.
Twins pitching prospect Connor Prielipp is slated to undergo UCL surgery on Monday.

The extent of the surgery isn't known until Dr. Keith Meister performs the procedure and determines what needs to be done. The club's No. 3 prospect underwent Tommy John surgery in 2021 while at Alabama while he has made just one start at both High-A and the Complex League this season, allowing five earned runs across 6 2/3 innings of work.
