SP - BOS - MiLB
Red Sox pitching prospect Connor Seabold might make his MLB debut on Saturday against the White Sox.
Seabold was scratched from Thursday's start at Triple-A Worcester and placed on Boston's taxi squad. The 25-year-old has pitched well in the minors this season, but he won't be a recommended fantasy option in a difficult matchup.
Red Sox pitching prospect Connor Seabold will begin the Triple-A season on the IL due to elbow inflammation.
The move is considered precautionary. Seabold came over from the Phillies alongside Nick Pivetta in the Brandon Workman/Heath Hembree trade. He has a chance to pitch in Boston's rotation in the coming years.
