To avoid arbitration, the Boston Red Sox and Connor Wong (hand) agreed to terms on a one-year contract Thursday. The deal is valued at $1.375 million and includes an additional $75,000 in potential performance bonuses.

Wong underwent right hand surgery in October but is expected to be recovered in time for spring training.
