Myers came in to replace Spencer Steer on defense in the eighth inning before drawing a walk in the ninth and stealing second base. The 30-year-old former Marlin has appeared in 10 games this season, but has been used mostly on defense with just 16 plate appearances to his credit on the year.

Myers, has played parts of three seasons in Miami and appeared in a career-high 106 games last year, slashing .235/.297/.326 while swiping 18 bases in 23 attempts. All told, Myers is a career .245 hitter in the big leagues with 10 home runs and 23 stolen bases. With all of the outfield moves made by Cincinnati, it's unclear what the plans are at the moment. We wouldn't expect Myers to win a starting job, but he certainly could carve out some kind of a role on the big league club.
