A first-round pick all the way back in 2019 and a highly touted prospect as recently as 2023, Espino has battled through multiple injuries over the past few years to get to this point. The 25-year-old righty has posted an elevated 5.30 ERA over 18 2/3 innings at Triple-A Columbus this year, but a 3.44 xERA is more encouraging. Walks (15) have been an issue, but he's countered them with 29 strikeouts.
