The Cincinnati Reds have signed left-handed pitcher Daniel Norris to a minor-league deal with an invite to MLB spring training.

Once a top prospect, Norris has struggled to consistently put it together in his big-league career. The southpaw owns a 4.71 ERA across 208 appearances (86 starts). He split the 2022 season between the Cubs and Tigers, pitching to a 5.22 ERA across 58 2/3 innings, but finished strong with a 3.45 ERA across two starts and 12 relief appearances with the Tigers down the stretch.
