However, he walked three batters in a single inning of work while surrendering an eighth-inning lead in St. Louis on Saturday. The walks for Hernandez are nothing new, as he has issued 24 free passes (7.2 BB/9) this season. Hernandez should be back in Atlanta soon, but he is going to have to improve control.
