Daysbel Hernandez (shoulder) lands on the 15-day IL.

Fantasy Impact

Hernandez has had an up-and -down season and could now be out for the remainder of it. The third-year righty made his last appearance back on September 6, when he allowed three earned runs while retiring just two batters. Hernandez holds a 3.41 ERA and 33-30 K/BB ration across 37 innings this season. Hunter Stratton has been recalled in a corresponding move.

Daysbel Hernandez demoted to Triple-A

Daysbel Hernandez has been sent back down to Triple-A Gwinnett.

Fantasy Impact

This might seem like a surprising move by the Braves, as Hernandez sports a strong 2.10 ERA and has allowed just 15 hits across 30 innings of relief here in 2025. However, he walked three batters in a single inning of work while surrendering an eighth-inning lead in St. Louis on Saturday. The walks for Hernandez are nothing new, as he has issued 24 free passes (7.2 BB/9) this season. Hernandez should be back in Atlanta soon, but he is going to have to improve control.
