The Tigers got off to a hot start on Thursday, scoring four runs in the first inning while Dingler's fifth-inning, two-run homer stretched the Tigers' lead to 8-0. The 27-year-old enjoyed an excellent rookie season in 2025, hitting .278 with 13 home runs and a .752 OPS across 126 games while playing elite defense behind the plate. He is certainly worthy of a look in 12-team leagues as he enters what appears to be a promising sophomore campaign.
Dingler (elbow) had arthroscopic surgery on his right elbow in January. He has been able to participate fully in all baseball activities except throwing, where his progression continues.

He will make his spring debut Friday against Philadelphia, batting fifth and serving as the designated hitter. Full clearance could arrive within the next week. Dingler is projected to be available for the start of the regular season.
