Drew Stubbs draws a walk on Monday night

Drew Stubbs batted in the eighth hole on Monday night. Stubbs went 0-for-2 with a walk and played CF for the Giants.

Fantasy Impact

Stubbs and the San Francisco Giants are off to a terrible start. They won last night, but they'll have to string together a nice win streak to get back to where they belong. Stubbs shouldn't be on your season-long fantasy team as he is a platoon player for the Giants.

Twins release Drew Stubbs

Veteran outfielder Drew Stubbs chose free agency over Triple-A Rochester after posting a .139 average with 15 strikeouts in a mere 36 at-bats this Spring.

Fantasy Impact

Drew Stubbs may sign with another team or even make it back to the Twins, either way he has no immediate fantasy value.

Drew Stubbs homers in Spring outing against Red Sox

Newly acquired Drew Stubbs hit a solo shot off of Boston's Matt Barnes in the 4th inning of this Spring outing.

Fantasy Impact

Drew Stubbs is competing for a role in the Twins' outfield. A key is to bring down that strikeout rate percentage of 29.8 Stubbs had last season.

Drew Stubbs signs with the Minnesota Twins

The Minnesota Twins and OF Drew Stubbs have agreed to a minor-league deal with an invitation to spring training.

Fantasy Impact

All Stubbs is at this point is insurance for any team. Considering that the Twins have much OF depth Stubbs will be battling for at-bats all season. For that reason Stubbs is not worth a look in fantasy this season. Stubbs finished 2016 with a .225 average, three home runs, and seven RBI.

Drew Stubbs hits three-run bomb in Braves loss

Stubbs went 1-for-4 with a three-run HR and a walk in the Braves' 12-7 loss to the Cardinals on Sunday.

Fantasy Impact

Stubbs' blast came off of Adam Wainwright to dead centerfield to tie the score at four in the fourth inning. Stubbs has always had an intriguing blend of power, speed, and defense, although he also showcased his major downfall on Sunday afternoon with three strikeouts. With Ender Inciarte going to the DL, the Braves called up rookie Mallex Smith, who figures to be the long-term solution in the outfield. Expect Stubbs to continue to see playing time platooning in center especially against lefties. He is a DFS dart throw at best right now.
