Dylan Dodd struck out the side in order during a perfect bottom of the ninth inning to earn the save in Sunday's 4-2 win over the Astros.
Fantasy Impact
Dodd got a chance to preserve a two-run lead in the ninth and clinch a division title for the Braves on Sunday afternoon. The lefty could not have been better in the spot. Dodd showed he could be a reliable bullpen arm for the Braves in 2025, but he has really come into his own as a high-leverage reliever this season. The 28-year-old has posted a 2.31 ERA and 0.90 WHIP while picking up a pair of saves and 14 holds across 46 appearances in 2026.
Dylan Dodd (oblique) has been activated from the IL.
Fantasy Impact
Dodd will rejoin the Braves' bullpen ahead of Tuesday's game against the Marlins. Dodd has appeared in two games for the Braves so far this season, allowing one run with four strikeouts over four innings. Veteran reliever Aaron Bummer has been released by the Braves.
Dylan Dodd will begin a rehab assignment on Tuesday with Triple-A Gwinnett.
Fantasy Impact
Dodd has been on the injured list for almost two weeks. He'll figure to make at least a few rehab appearances before he is activated.
Dylan Dodd (oblique) has been placed on the 15-day injured list with a strained oblique. Veteran Carlos Carrasco has been called up from Gwinnett to replace Dodd on the Braes' roster.
Fantasy Impact
Dodd has appeared in two games for the Braves and has pitched to a 2.25 ERA with a 4:1 K:BB ration in four innings of work. The Braves are hoping that he won't need anything more than the 15-day stint on the injured list as he has put up solid numbers as s reliver. In 31 relief appearances, Dodd has pitched to a 3.73 ERA in 41 innings. As a starer, Dodd is 2-2 with a 7.60 ERA in seven starts with the Braves in 2023 and 2024.
Dylan Dodd has been called back up from Triple-A Gwinnett.
Fantasy Impact
With closer Raisel Iglesias (shoulder) landing on the IL, Dodd will head back to Atlanta to fill the void in the Braves' bullpen. Dodd has made one appearance for the Braves so far this season, logging three scoreless frames on April 12.
