The Pirates have an interesting decision to make with Joey Bart (foot) nearing his return as they are unlikely to carry three catchers on the active roster. On one hand, Rodriguez is slashing .268/.423/.482 with three home runs, seven RBI, and a 16:15 K:BB ratio in 22 games played. On the other hand, Henry Davis is slashing .135/.236/.278 with five homers, 17 RBI, and a 31:14 K:BB ratio in 46 contests. He is hitting .103 (9-for-87) over the last month. The home run was his first of the season and fourth of his career while the stolen base was his second of the year. Rodriguez has appeared in 11 games this season and is hitting .300 (9-for-30). He'll continue to earn some starts while Joey Bart (foot) remains on the shelf.
