Fantasy Impact
De Jesus has been a great story this spring, pitching nine scoreless innings with 10 strikeouts and just one walk in Grapefruit League action. Additionally, he allowed just one earned run with 11 strikeouts to just one walk across 7 1/3 innings for the World Baseball Classic champion Team Venezuela this spring.
De Jesus made his major-league debut with Miami in 2023, appearing in two games before spending the past two seasons in the Korea Baseball Organization. He joined Detroit as a non-roster invitee in December.

Spring training brought three unearned runs allowed with seven strikeouts and one walk over 6.1 innings. His World Baseball Classic start for Venezuela yielded one run and eight strikeouts across five innings. The Tigers purchased De Jesus' contract on Tuesday, placing him on the 40-man roster.
