Despite tossing two scoreless innings in Cactus League action, Cerantola was never a serious candidate to make the Opening Day roster. The 40-man roster addition remains one of Kansas City’s more intriguing relief prospects and is expected to debut at some point in 2025. If he can refine his command, he has the potential to work his way into a late-inning role.
