Going up against Carrasco and Bauer, Skoglund didn't have much of a chance at the win, but he held his own against a World Series contender. Hopefully Skoglund can stay healthy next year, and fantasy owners can get a better idea of what the 25-year-old has to offer.

Skoglund's season has been riddled with injuries, the most alarming being a UCL sprain. He may pitch again this season since his start was shortened, but he's going to have to put together some quality starts next year before being considered a fantasy asset.
