The Guardians activated RHP Hunter Gaddis from the 15-day injured list.
Fantasy Impact
Gaddis missed the first couple weeks of the season recovering from a forearm strain. He will re-join the Guardians bullpen.
Guardians right-hander Hunter Gaddis (forearm) is with the team for their road trip and could be activated at some point during the trip.
Fantasy Impact
The Guardians played three games in Atlanta over the weekend and open a three-game set in St. Louis on Monday, so it appears Gaddis could be activated within the next three days. The right-hander allowed five earned runs in four rehab outings, but four of those came in a single outing. He has combined for 68 holds and three saves over the last two seasons in 151 appearances and should slide into a main setup role behind closer Cade Smith upon his return.
Hunter Gaddis made a rehab appearance on Saturday.
Fantasy Impact
Gaddis pitched a scoreless inning for Triple-A Columbus. He remains on the injured list with forearm tightness.
The Guardians have placed right-hander Hunter Gaddis on the 15-day injured list due to a right forearm strain.
Fantasy Impact
Gaddis' forearm issue has kept him out of spring action, but he pitched in his second minor league game of the spring on Tuesday. The right-hander regressed from a dominant 2024 in 2025, but still posted a quality 3.11 ERA across 73 appearances, locking down three saves to go along with 35 holds.
Gaddis will make his second minor-league spring training appearance Tuesday as he works back from right forearm tightness. He will open the 2026 season on the injured list.
Fantasy Impact
If his recovery continues on its current path, Gaddis could be looking at a minimum IL stay before rejoining Cleveland's bullpen.
