Detroit Tigers infield prospect Izaac Pacheco collected two hits in a 16-3 win over the St. Louis Cardinals Tuesday.
Fantasy Impact
Pacheco went 2-for-2 with a walk alongside an RBI and two runs scored on the afternoon. It's an encouraging performance from the Tigers' 2021 second-round pick after he struggled to a .183 average and .641 OPS in 18 games at High-A in 2022. However, the 20-year-old also hit eight homers with 12 steals and a .757 OPS at Single-A and will likely begin the season at the High-A level in 2023.
