Fantasy Impact
Tibbs had a great spring, going 14-for-42 (.333) with three home runs and 10 runs batted in. He did, however, strike out 19 times in 48 plate appearances. Tibbs, a first round pick by the Giants in the 2024 MLB Draft, combined to hit 20 home runs across three teams in the minors last season. Tibbs, a 2024 first-round pick, was dealt to the Red Sox in the Rafael Devers deal earlier this season. The 22-year-old has hit .232 with 13 home runs, five stolen bases, and a .763 OPS across 86 games between the High-A and Double-A levels this season.
The Red Sox acquired James Tibbs as part of the package in exchange for Rafael Devers.
