Jarvis was really the only Braves' player to do much Tuesday night. The rookie shortstop picked up his first career triple, and he's now sporting a solid .292/.333/.458 slash line with five extra-base hits across 15 games for the Braves so far this season. It'll be interesting to see what the club chooses to do with him once Ha-Seong Kim (finger) returns from the IL, but Jarvis has certainly earned the regular playing time.

Jarvis not only belted his first career MLB homer in the fourth inning of Thursday's win, but he also added a couple more base knocks and multiple slick plays at shortstop. The rookie has now gone 6-for-19 overall at the plate since he was recalled a week ago.

Jarvis will head up to the bigs for the second time, as he appeared in two games for the Braves earlier this season, going 1-for-5 with a couple of strikeouts at the plate. Jarvis has had plenty of success at the plate in Triple-A this year, posting an impressive .313/.406/.461 slash line with 29 extra-base hits and 32 steals across 76 games. Given the Braves' need for steady production from shortstop, Jarvis could be given a shot at regular playing time, at least on the strong side of a platoon. Veteran slugger Rowdy Tellez was designated for assignment to make room for Jarvis on the roster.
