The Marlins have optioned catcher Joe Mack to Triple-A Jacksonville.

Mack struggled at the plate this spring, going 3-for-24 (.125) with a homer across 27 trips to the plate. The 23-year-old had a big minor league season in 2025, hitting .257 with 21 home runs, nine stolen bases, and an .813 OPS across 112 games between Double-A and Triple-A.

Mack (neck) is projected to begin the season at Triple-A Jacksonville. Neck stiffness kept him unavailable for several days, but he has been cleared for game action.
