Marlins infielder Jon Berti went 1-for-5 with a double and two RBI in Tuesday's win over the Atlanta Braves.
Berti is off to a slow start to the season and is now batting .200 with four runs scored, no home runs, four RBI, and no stolen bases through eight games (20 at-bats).
Jon Berti went 3-for-4 with a double and two RBI as the Marlins beat the Braves 4-2 on Thursday.
Berti has had an up-and-down season. The eight stolen bases are nice but they were mostly also clustered together. Overall he's batting .264 with a .752 OPS, which isn't enough to be useful in fantasy without more consistent base stealing.
Jon Berti (finger) was activated off the 10-day injured list Sunday.
Berti has been dealing with a right finger issue since early September. He was activated off the injured ahead of Sunday’s doubleheader against the Nationals. Berti will continue his super utility role during the last week of the season.
Jon Berti suffered a finger contusion on Monday against the Braves.
He's considered day-to-day for now. The Marlins should update his status sometime on Tuesday.
Jon Berti went 2-for-2 with a homer, a double, and a walk as the Marlins beat the Blue Jays 3-2 on Tuesday evening.
The big day at the plate snaps a three-game hitless streak for Berti, who is now batting .263 with a .737 OPS this summer. The homer was his second of the year but the main reason he should be owned in fantasy league is for the eight steals he has accumulated.
