J.T. Realmuto makes history on Saturday

J.T. Realmuto went 2-for-5 with two runs scored, three RBI, a home run, and a triple on Saturday against the Nationals.

Fantasy Impact

Realmuto has now homered and tripled in consecutive games, becoming the first catcher ever to do so. He's slowly turned things around after a slow start and his .265/.336/.428 slash line looks eerily similar to last year's. Those who held onto Realmuto and ignored the urge to sell low despite him batting .227 in May and June are being, and will continue to be, heavily rewarded. Enjoy the production of the perennial top-five catcher.

J.T. Realmuto homers on Friday against Nationals

J.T. Realmuto went 3-for-4 with two runs scored, two RBI, and a home run on Friday against the Nationals.

Fantasy Impact

Realmuto is now up to 11 home runs on the season and is batting .263. As usual, his quality of contact is not elite, but his overall metrics look simular to past years. Considering his double-digit steals and and home runs, he continues to be one of the most valuable catchers in the game.

J.T. Realmuto homers in Saturday's win over Pirates

J.T. Realmuto went 2-for-2 Saturday, singling, hitting a solo home run, scoring one run, and driving in one run in the Phillies' 2-1 win over the Pirates.

Fantasy Impact

Realmuto continues his hot stretch at the plate for the Phillies, hitting .348 with two runs scored, two home runs, and seven runs batted in over his last seven games. The 31-year-old continues to be one of the top producing catchers for fantasy managers, hitting .259 with 44 runs scored, 10 home runs, and 45 runs batted in through 86 games this season.

J.T. Realmuto homers on Tuesday against Braves

J.T. Realmuto went 1-for-3 with a home run and two RBI on Tuesday against the Braves.

Fantasy Impact

Realmuto's season feels disappointing, and it mostly is by his standards. But he's the fourth-ranked catcher this season and now has nine home runs to go along with his 13 steals. Realmuto isn't going to reach the numbers he had last season, but he's come on of late and should continue to be valued as an easy top-five catcher going forward.

J.T. Realmuto goes deep on Saturday against Marlins

J.T. Realmuto went 2-for-5 with two runs scored, two RBI, and a home run on Saturday against the Marlins.

Fantasy Impact

Realmuto is up to eight home runs on the season now to go along with his 12 steals. His .251 average is slowly creeping up to his career norm, and his .268 xBA is actually his best since 2019. If you roster Realmuto, there's not much you can do anyway, considering that even in a down year he's still one of the most valuable options at his position. But he does seem to be turning things around a bit after a slow start, so he'll likely finish as a top-five catcher by season's end.
