3B Juan Uribe went 2-for-4 and scored a run in the Indians' 7-2 win over the Reds on Thursday.
Fantasy Impact
Juan Uribe got the start at third base with Jose Ramirez shifting to the outfield. Uribe has started on the bench five times in May and is only slashing .225/.262/.225 when he has been given the opportuinty to start. Expect him to get regular days off, especially whilst Ramirez is hitting over .300.
3B Juan Uribe went 0-for-4 in the series finale win over the Royals on Sunday.
Fantasy Impact
Juan Uribe had enjoyed multi-hit games in both of his last two starts, but is only hitting .231 on the season. The 37-year-old beat off Giovanny Urshela in Spring Training to claim the starting job at third base, but is now losing playing time to Jose Ramirez (.310 AVG). Ramirez has started eight games in the hot corner and has been a defensive replacement there on seven occasions.
3B Juan Uribe went 2-for-4 with two strikeouts in Monday's loss to the Twins.
Fantasy Impact
This was only the second multi-hit game of the season for the 37-year-old, who has been rested in two of the last five games with Jose Ramirez getting the starts at third base. Uribe is hitting .222 with .289 SLG this season while Ramirez has a .283 AVG and .415 SLG. With Michael Brantley and Lonnie Chisenhall off the DL, expect Juan Uribe to sit once or twice each week as Terry Francona mixes and matches.
3B Juan Uribe will man third base and bat eighth as the Indians face the Mets in the series finale on Sunday.
Fantasy Impact
Juan Uribe hit six home runs in 44 games for the Mets last year but batted just .219. He has yet to find his stroke for the Indians this season with just five hits in 25 at-bats (.200 AVG) and two RBI. The veteran is in risk of losing playing time when Michael Brantley and Lonnie Chisenhall are activated from the DL. Jose Ramirez and his hot bat could move to the hot corner for a couple of games each week.
3B Juan Uribe went 0-for-3 as the Indians went down to the Rays on Tuesday.
Fantasy Impact
The veteran has struggled in the opening five games for the Indians, with just one hit and a batting average of .059. When the Indians are back to full strength, Uribe will likely sit once or twice a week, giving playing time at third base to Jose Ramirez. The 37-year-old has 192 career home runs and should still be able to offer double-digit homers whilst playing above-average defense at the hot corner.
