Strowd posted a 1.71 ERA and 1.10 WHIP across 26.1 innings with the Orioles last season and came to Arizona via trade in February with a shot at the Opening Day roster. He allowed 10 earned runs across just 7.2 Cactus League innings, however, undercutting his case.
