The Tampa Bay Rays have signed relief pitcher Kyle Crick to a minor-league deal.
Crick has put in solid work in his big-league tenure with a quality 3.56 ERA across 194 appearances, all coming as a reliever. He spent the 2022 season with the White Sox where he pitched to a 4.02 ERA and 28.8% K% across 14 appearances and 15 2/3 innings pitched.
Kyle Crick has been placed on the 15-day IL with right elbow inflammation, retroactive to June 14th. Vince Velasquez was reinstated from the IL.
This is another blow to the White Sox bullpen who just lost Liam Hendriks to a forearm injury. There is no timetable at the moment for Crick's return. He has a 4.02 ERA and 19 Ks in 15.2 innings in 2022.
Pirates reliever Kyle Crick landed on the 10-day injured list with a right triceps strain.
In 2021, Crick has a 1.59 ERA, 0.62 WHIP, 24.4% strikeout rate, and 14.6% walk rate in 11.1 innings. His .043 BABIP allowed looks like that ERA is unsustainable given his career .254 BABIP. Last year, Crick landed on the IL with a lat strain and shoulder strain, so hopefully, this isn't serious for those in saves plus holds leagues.
Kyle Crick (lat) placed on the 10-day injured list on Monday with a lat strain.
Crick heads back to the injured list with a lat strain. He will have a chance to return just before the season ends. Mitch Keller was called up to start in his place for Monday’s Game 2 against the Reds.
Kyle Crick (shoulder) is traveling with the team and will throw live BP on it's upcoming road trip.
Crick was placed on the injured list due to a strained right shoulder. He has been throwing live BP sessions and making progress. Crick could be activated as early as Wednesday if there are no reported issues in his upcoming sessions.
