Pirates reliever Kyle Crick landed on the 10-day injured list with a right triceps strain.
In 2021, Crick has a 1.59 ERA, 0.62 WHIP, 24.4% strikeout rate, and 14.6% walk rate in 11.1 innings. His .043 BABIP allowed looks like that ERA is unsustainable given his career .254 BABIP. Last year, Crick landed on the IL with a lat strain and shoulder strain, so hopefully, this isn't serious for those in saves plus holds leagues.
Kyle Crick (lat) placed on the 10-day injured list on Monday with a lat strain.
Crick heads back to the injured list with a lat strain. He will have a chance to return just before the season ends. Mitch Keller was called up to start in his place for Monday’s Game 2 against the Reds.
Kyle Crick (shoulder) is traveling with the team and will throw live BP on it's upcoming road trip.
Crick was placed on the injured list due to a strained right shoulder. He has been throwing live BP sessions and making progress. Crick could be activated as early as Wednesday if there are no reported issues in his upcoming sessions.
Kyle Crick (shoulder) threw live batting practice.
Crick has been out nearly a month with a strained right shoulder. He threw live batting practice Wednesday and is scheduled to throw another session soon. Crick owns a 0.00 ERA, 4.00 WHIP and 2:1 K:BB across one inning this season.
Kyle Crick (shoulder) threw a bullpen session on Tuesday.
Crick landed on the injured list July 28th with a shoulder/lat strain. He threw a bullpen session on Tuesday and will need to ramp up his activity before being activated from the injured list. Crick is expected to be in a high-leverage role in the Pirates bullpen once he is able to return.
