Cardinals top prospect LHP Matt Liberatore earned his third win of the year by spinning eight inning of three-run ball during Wednesday's start for Triple-A Memphis.
The 21-year-old struck out six and allowed just one walk in the outing. Liberatore hasn't been awfully impressive this season, but he's widely considered a top-40 prospect in baseball. He's on the roster for Team USA in the upcoming Olympics, so it'll be interesting to see if the Cardinals call him up before that. Liberatore might not have ace upside but he needs to be rostered in every dynasty league.
